Califa Group in partnership with the California State Library and New Media Learning is embarking on an expansion of an initial pilot project to offer California public libraries the opportunity to setup a fully loaded VR system, complete with a VR-enabled computer/software/educational media catalog, and Oculus RIFT with Touch Sensors or HTC VIVE head gear. Libraries will receive training and ongoing support for their VR systems through this website built to provide information and resources for libraries on VR technology, capabilities, applications in libraries and promising practices.
Virtual reality is a medium, a means by which humans can share ideas and experiences.
